 16. Corruption Perception Index (CPI) 2017– India ranked at 79thpositions among 176 countries. The report is published by Transparency International (TI).

  • Top 3 countries - New Zealand and Denmark in joint first place followed by Finland and Sweden.
  • Counties bottom of the index: Somalia was ranked the most corrupt country. Other countries with lower rankings were Syria, South Sudan, North Korea.
