3. Word Press Freedom Index 2017 – India ranked at 136th positions among 180 countries. The report is compiled and published by Reporters Without Borders.

 16. Corruption Perception Index (CPI) 2017– India ranked at 79thpositions among 176 countries. The report is published by Transparency International (TI).

• Top 3 countries - New Zealand and Denmark in joint first place followed by Finland and Sweden.
• Counties bottom of the index: Somalia was ranked the most corrupt country. Other countries with lower rankings were Syria, South Sudan, North Korea.
