Economic Survey 2018:
FM Jaitley tables Economic Survey in Parliament.
Economic Survey sees FY19 GDP growing 7-7.5% vs 6.75% in FY18.

India and Cambodia Ink 4 Agreements:
India and Cambodia signed four agreements in the field of cultural exchange, an exchange line of credit of $26.9 million, memorandum of understanding to cooperate in legal matter and an agreement on prevention of human trafficking.
The documents were exchanged in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and visiting Cambodian PM Hun Sen following delegation-level talks between the two countries. New Delhi has agreed to set up a centre of IT excellence in Cambodia.

Himachal CM Launches 'Shakti' App for Women's Safety:
The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jai Ram Thakur launched the ‘Shakti’ app for women’s safety in the state. The app was developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) of the Himachal Pradesh government.
It would be available in both Hindi and English languages and would not require internet connectivity. The main objective of the launch of the app and the helpline is to fight crimes against women in the state.

India to Host Informal WTO Ministerial Gathering in New Delhi:
Trade ministers from various countries including Australia, Japan and Switzerland met for an informal WTO ministerial gathering in Davos, Switzerland.
India was represented by Deepak Jagdish Saksena, ambassador and permanent representative to the WTO.
India announced that it will host an informal WTO Ministerial gathering in March 2018. The meeting would be held in New Delhi on March 19-20.

Grammy Awards 2018- Complete List of Winners:
The 60th Annual Grammy Awards, honoring the best achievements from October 2016 to September 2017 were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the USA. James Corden was the host of the ceremony for the second year in a row.
It was Bruno Mars' night at the Grammy Awards held in New York, with the three biggest wins - Album of the Year and Record of the Year for 24K Magic and Song of the Year for 'That's What I Like'.

Australian Open 2018- Complete List of Winners:
The Australian Open is a tennis tournament held annually in Melbourne Park, Australia.  The 2018 Australian Open is the 106th edition of the tournament.
Roger Federer defeated Marin Cilic in the final. It was Federer's 20th Grand Slam title. In women's' single, Caroline Wozniacki became the first Danish player to win a Grand Slam singles title, defeating Simona Halep in the final.

Sandeep Lamichhane Becomes 1st Nepal player to Get IPL Contract:
Sandeep Lamichhane became the first cricketer from Nepal to land a deal an IPL contract. He was picked by Delhi Daredevils in the player's auction. The 17-year-old, the only Nepal player in the IPL auction, was sold at his base price of Rs 20 lakh.
The leg-spinner hogged the limelight in 2016 U-19 World Cup by becoming the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 14 scalps in six innings.

Tai Tzu Ying of Taiwan Wins Indonesian Masters:
The world no.1 Tai Tzu Ying of Taiwan has defeated Saina Nehwal in the finals of the Indonesia Masters in Jakarta.
Tai Tzu has now defeated the former world No.1 nine times in their last 10 meetings.
